I have created a how-to presentation to address confusion regarding the differences between logging in to the Google Chrome web browser and logging in to the website www.google.com to access one's NPS GApps account (e.g., Mail, Calendar and Drive).
This distinction is important to understand as it determines:
- the correct login and corresponding logout procedure,
- which GApps for Ed features are available to you (e.g., bookmarking and Chrome store apps),
- and how you direct students to login and logout of their GApps account properly (to avoid login/logoff issues that slow things down to a crawl and/or complete standstill).
